Solutions

We offer several different stock solutions, as well as custom solutions, depending on your needs. These include: raster, vector data and hybrid solutions.

Raster solutions

This is where the mapping data is supplied as an image, or even as a paper map, and we create a Website that utilises this image. This type of solution remains faithful to any, previously printed, paper copies of the maps in question, but due to the nature of raster images it results in a solution that performs best only at the original scale at which the raster data was provided.

Vector data solutions

By using data in Esri Shape format, MapInfo Tab format, and even raw data held in a standard database format such as Microsoft Access or SQL Server, we can create a truly interactive Website that performs well at any scale. A great bonus to using this solution is that new data can be dropped in at any time, overwriting the old data, so your maps are as up-to-date as possible and can be edited in seconds!

Raster/Vector hybrid solutions

We can also create Websites that utilise both raster and vector data. This can be useful for presenting aerial photography as a background to your mapping data for example. Due to our ability to mix and match data sets, our solutions are extremely versitile and can be adapted for your own needs.
